They will not usually fall out or work their way out on their own. If left untreated, they can cause pain, infection, abscesses, and may require urgent veterinary care or surgery.

· Ears: Constant head shaking, tilting the head to one side, or scratching at the ears.
· Paws: Excessive licking of one paw or limping.
· Nose: Intense, repeated sneezing or nasal discharge.
· Eyes: Squinting, redness, swelling, or discharge.
· Skin: Red, swollen lumps, sores, or abscesses.
